Hi guys,
Probably a silly question but I went into our local PMT yesterday to try out the mk111 and was wondering if the lack of writing beneath the control knobs has been an issue for example in a live setting? Obviously they have the symbols but initially when I sat down with it I found it slightly annoying.
On a lighter note I managed to pick up a mk1 50 combo in a flight case for £300 and it’s amazing.
Cheers

Re: Rockerverb mk111
Funny enough I was trying out some new pickups the other day and they sounded like mud o matter how high I set the treble... I then realized I had been adjusting the bass for the hour I was jamming.
Other than that, no. I love the pics only design. I think it is classy. I have never had an issue besides then and I have been playing the amp live for over a year.

Re: Rockerverb mk111
I've had mine for about 7 months and with in the first month or so I didn't feel the need to even look at the pictograms to make my adjustments. The layout of the knobs and each knob's function was just sort of mapped in my brain based on the pattern of big and little knobs in succession.
That's also coming from someone who has done years of obsessing and studying promo photos of multiple Orange amps prior to acquiring my RVMKIII.

Re: Rockerverb mk111
I’ve always felt they were dead simple to understand. Bass clef for bass, treble clef for treble.

+1
probably the thing that has KEPT me an exclusively Orange player some 7 years on... everything is so simple, so clear. I look at the front of a Mesa and I just get angry...

All joking aside, I would still love a Triple Rec.
