Brent Hinds Terror bright cap?

If I heard correctly, there is a bright cap on the gain control? If so, would it be advisable to remove it to darken up the gain a little bit? How easy would that be to do?

Pretty easy, if you know where it is. Usually a small ceramic cap beside the gain control. Advisable? Matter of taste really. It won’t darken the tone, just attenuate the highs.

I think I would just prefer the rocker 15. I think an exchange is in order.
