Nope, I meant 1, not 1:00. Granted we don't have an overly loud drummer. But yes it's a full band, pop/rock type stuff, bass, drums, keyboards, two singers.
Wow. Yea, if you are playing at 1, not only is your drummer super quiet, you guys are playing at cocktail lounge levels. I can barely get over our drummer with my Rockerverb 50 at noon and our bass player has a 500 watt amp thats going full out most the time at rehearsal. Having said that, we mic up for most every show which keeps stage volume down but even when I took my Micro Dark to rehearsal and mic'd my 2x12, still ran it at 11 o'clock. I have it at 1 playing by myself in my bedroom. Nothing wrong with what you are doing though if it works for you.

no, no.. the micro terror IS loud.

I had one for a few days and returned it, but in the quest for a little more volume i connected the preamp out to the power amp of my 900W Genz Streamliner amp.. volume fixed!.. :D

Yeah it can do loud overdrive, I really liked the sound through a VHT 412 with Vintage 30's.
The only problem I could think of in a gigging situation would be if you need loud clean sound
for a certain song/part.
