Wow. Yea, if you are playing at 1, not only is your drummer super quiet, you guys are playing at cocktail lounge levels. I can barely get over our drummer with my Rockerverb 50 at noon and our bass player has a 500 watt amp thats going full out most the time at rehearsal. Having said that, we mic up for most every show which keeps stage volume down but even when I took my Micro Dark to rehearsal and mic'd my 2x12, still ran it at 11 o'clock. I have it at 1 playing by myself in my bedroom. Nothing wrong with what you are doing though if it works for you.

no, no.. the micro terror IS loud.
I had one for a few days and returned it, but in the quest for a little more volume i connected the preamp out to the power amp of my 900W Genz Streamliner amp.. volume fixed!..

Re: Micro Terror is loud!
Yeah it can do loud overdrive, I really liked the sound through a VHT 412 with Vintage 30's.
The only problem I could think of in a gigging situation would be if you need loud clean sound
for a certain song/part.
