Orange Rockerverb MKIII FX Loop

Post by C4th » Wed Jan 31, 2018 6:41 pm

Hi,

Just having a bit of trouble with my Orange Rockerverb MKIII FX Loop.

FX loop order is - chorus > delay > reverb > clean boost.

Trouble I'm having, is that if go - RETURN - chorus > delay > reverb > clean boost - SEND, all works well and good.
But what I was hoping to do was - SEND - chorus > delay > reverb > clean boost - RETURN. I was aiming to have my clean boost last in the chain (return), but when I do this I get no sound whatsoever from the amp.

I'm hoping I'm having a dumb moment and there's an easy explanation.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

It will only work in one direction. The SEND needs to go to the input of the first pedal. The output of the last pedal goes to RETURN. Unless they labeled them backwards.

So it’s sorted out? I’m curious because when I looked at photos, the Send snd Return jacks are opposite the MKl and MKll. Wondering if they actually did label them backwards or designed it like that.

You're right, I hadn't noticed that. Maybe that was why I was getting confused, (at least that's my excuse). But yeah, all sorted, you were bang on.

Thank again.
