Anything interesting today? Like a new OR series? :D Doesn't seem to be much excitement around the NAMM releases for Orange. No one really talking about them anywhere online or even in here...

Still want the dune buggy though.....

Billy, if you find one, you could join the MBBA (Massachusetts Beach Buggy Assn.). They appear to be still going strong!

Can anyone identify the people in front of that store front?

On the orange website's blog, it says "Orange shop staff, 1970. From left: Robin, Cliff, Rocky, Ed, Veronica"

The Rocker 15 Terror Head is exactly what I've been looking for, very excited!

Andertons coverage at the Orange booth:

I know some are disappointed that there isn't any massive release to celebrate the anniversary, but its not like its new years eve; there are still 11 more months left in the year for them to do something special. In fact I believe the shop first opened in September of 68 so maybe they are waiting until the later half of the year, who knows.

Wish I could have tried stuff there but the cacophony that is NAMM means you can't really tell what anything sounds like. I played their new acoustic guitar preamp which seems pretty good but I'd have to really hear it without anything else around...

The vertical 2X12 is really nice - I wasn't so sure but it has a great look to it. Reminded me of the vertical 2X12 in the '73 catalog that had the twin horns at the top but this new one is cooler...

Ha ha ha... never found VOX. Or Duesenberg. Got lost yesterday and found Butch Walker and Billy Sheehan... and of course, a pic with Cliff Cooper... and Gunnar and Matthew Nelson. And a picture with Ade... oh, and a picture with Johnny A. and me...

Most every company announces everything at NAMM, even if its not released till later in the year. If Orange hasn't announced anything by now, there is nothing else coming this year which really sucks but oh well. Already picked up a used 100 watt JCM a few days ago and will probably order the new DSL100 since Orange isn't interested in releasing anything more than 15 watt amps these days.

I think it’s time to let it go. I’m worried for you.
