Cool, I'm interested in the cab. I was already interested in the rocker 15 combo, now there's a head to choose from. I wonder how different, if at all, the hinds terror is.

Two EL84 amps and a guitar cab.

Yep that’s me underwhelmed.

Admittedly the vertical 2x12 is cool but doesn’t even accomodate a full sized head.

I'm gonna be surprised if there isn't another announcement at all this year

I think they have the dimensions wrong. They have it a 14” wide, but looking at the back theres a 12” speaker in there with a lot of empty space beside it, at least 6”. Then the sides of the cab take up a few inches. Needs 21" width for a full size head, looks close to that. Would be a major fail if they didn't make it wide enough.

So the question is, how much will these new Terrors go for in the USA? $799 for the combo, I hope they can knock a couple hundred off for the head.

Yes, Orange screwed up the inches for the dimensions of their vertical PPC212V on the website and this error has been reproduced on all of the distributor websites like Musician's Friend; it says 14" wide x 27.5" tall, but if you look at photos of the cab, it clearly is not twice as tall as it is wide; more like 30% higher that it is wide. Which makes perfect sense when you note that it is stated as 54.5cm wide and 70cm tall (ie. 28% taller than width).

So, the actual width of the new cab is 54.5cm or about 21.5 inches....almost identical to the width of a standard Orange full-size head such as the Rockerverb.

I knew Orange wouldn't make such a blunder with their cab size lol. It should work with all of their heads.
