Finally got around to doing this today. Ordered a Celestion G10 Vintage from MF for $77 with their holiday discount. Took about 20 minutes to swap out. First impression is a huge improvement over the factory speaker. It's not exactly like my old Rocker 30 with a PPC212 with Vintage 30's, but it works for what I will use it for. Plus, it's much easier to transport!

I recommend the G10 Greenback along with the G10 Vintage. I was running my R30 into a 2x10 with those speakers mixed together. One of the best setups I’ve had.

I got the WGS ET10 swapped into the Rocker 15 combo, and it's a big improvement over the "Voice of the World" speaker. Smoother, warmer, with more low end. A good swap. Volume levels were the same as well.

I went all out and bought a Celestion G10 Gold alnico speaker and installed it in my Rocker 15. The improvement over the stock speaker is incredible. I was never a 10" speaker fan, but I really love the versatility and amazing richness of this speaker. Highly recommended.

How are you liking the G10 gold in that rocker15? I'm trying to decide between a greenback and a gold.

I really like the G10 Grenback speaker. Give us your review when you have play with it. The G10 greenback is not very efficient; your amp will probably sound quieter.

Got the greenback in yesterday. Took about 20min to swap. Big improvement. Highly recommend it!

I replaced my Rocker 15 combo speaker with a Celstion G10 Vintage Speaker today. I can agree that it is a massive improvement in tone over the stock speaker. It's added much more meat to the sound and the fizziness which had started to bother me has gone.

On another topic, now I've swapped the speaker out, the change in frequencies is rattling something in the cab occasionally. Could it be one of the tubes rattling?

I noticed a slight rattling when it’s really cranked as well. Haven’t tracked down the cause yet.

I’ve been tempted to swap the speaker in my combo. Any consensus on speakers? Seems the G10 and ET10 got good results.

I really like the g10 greenback. It has a good vitage mellow tone to it. Highly recommend it.
