I left one out though, my Vigier Expert.
I wanted to go through these 4 as they have some overlap and some similarities - and obvious differences.

I only have a modest "collection" - I don't feel that's quite the right word for 5 guitars, but feel very lucky. Lots of fun and variety there.

Also...... these guitars have very different price points..... yet they all can hang out on an even level.

I own one vegan (read vynil) couch strap on my Vigier..... and the blue Aria Pro II RS X80 has a cheap nylon strap, but it sorts of fits the guitar.

A while back I tried a friends guitar with a nice comfy leather strap.... I was instantly converted!

I also believe each guitar must have its permanent strap.

I'm with you on that one...

but mine are a random mish-mash, and NONE of them leather... I did finally quit letting my kids pick them out though.

And I also have 5 guitars (LP1, LP2, LP3, Firebird, Accoustic) and I like to refer to it as "my selection" of guitars, as it is certainly not a real collection.

Selection..... i like that concept....

I'd heavily recommend you try a nice 2"/2.5" wide padded leather strap.

They really are super comfy. If the under side if the strap is made out if suede leather, it also presents them sliding too much. Ideal to prevent headstock dive if that is an issue.

But either my 3 leather straps or my couch vegan vynil strap are very comfy, miles head if any classic fender or nylon weaved strap.
