Hello Everyone!
So I've got a PPC412, and a PPC212 that are crammed SUPER TIGHT into the corner of my office. Currently they are wired up with the R30 head but I've also got a TT that is getting lonely. I had to stash my other cabs away in the long term gear heap as I need the space in my office to store my gigging drum kit. ANYWAY!
I'm wondering if there is a recommended device I could use to swap between my TT and R30 while running into the same 612 stack. It won't be a real time thing, mostly because I'm too lazy to pull the whole stack out every-time I want to change the head. FWP YO!
I've only found the radial head-bone, but have also heard it might not be the most reliable.
Then again, is this something I just shouldn't risk?

Why not just use the 212 with the TT and 412 with the R30?

Once you go 612 you CAN'T GO BACK!!! You every played through a 612 or 812 stack? DON'T DEW IT!!!
Anyway, for a more balanced tone the TT through the 412 and the R30 through the 212 works better. I find the R30 can be a bit boomy though the 412 on it's own so that balances it out. Running both cabs provides a much fuller sound.
I suppose the real thing to do is run each amp into one cab then run them at the same time. Oh boy I'll need to get another pedal.

Hahaha! Yes this is all too true... when my band and i want to be extra obnoxious, we run full stacks so i haven't run a 612 but I have run an 812 set up and as you say, its hard to go back. Something I was doing for a while was running a stereo rig with a DD100 and an RV100 MKIII, it was amazing.
If you do end up running the two together, something I would recommend is running a delay pedal all the way wet with a single repeat with barely a hint of delay. All you want to do really is get one amp slightly offset of the other by about a millisecond or so. Without it, the two kind of sit on top of each other but with the offset, it makes your set up sound HUGE.

Can't loop master build you a device that'd do the trick???Boy_Narf wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2017 7:45 pmOnce you go 612 you CAN'T GO BACK!!! You every played through a 612 or 812 stack? DON'T DEW IT!!!

It sounds like you want something like the Radial Headbone.

I’m sure there are other products that are capable of doing the same thing, but this cane to mind immediately.
