Was thinking about hooking up my Marshall 10" cab to the Rocker 15. Marshall speaker is rated at 15w. Thought I'd look at the R15's speaker and it's rated for 40w. I guess that makes sense... they can use the same speaker[s] in the R32.
Now I'm not so sure about hooking up the Marshall cab... I'm guessing the 15w rating for the amp is clean. I read somewhere that the TT was 'seen' to put out as much as 28w.
Thoughts?

Re: 15w external cab with Rocker 15?
If you run the Rocker 15's speaker with the Marshall cab, you'd be fine. Both speakers need to be the same impedance and the amp needs to have the proper impedance output for those two speakers together. Its cutting it close with just the 15 watt speaker alone, Really depends on the speakers construction. Like an AC15 that uses a 15 watt Alnico Blue. Alnico Blues can handle more than 15 watts. You'll be OK if you ran the amp at half power.

They’re both 16ohms, so following the instructions, they fit the bill. I’ll probably be running in bedroom mode, which I didn’t consider when I posted. So, yeah, the Marshall will be fine. Thanks for helping me.Jondog wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2017 3:46 amIf you run the Rocker 15's speaker with the Marshall cab, you'd be fine.
