INTERESTING!

As long as it's cheaper than buying both pedals separate I think it's a neat idea.

Boss is coming out with great stuff lately. It's like the start of a new era for them. People knock them, but I love Boss pedals. The housing alone is the best there is. They do suck tone if a bunch are plugged in, but if you got that many, might as well have a loop. I'm not a big fan of JHS for personsl reasons, but JHS make great pedals. Angry Charlie isn't really a JHS designed pedal, but its an awesome pedal.

Boss Angry Driver= GAS

Saw this today too... definitely piqued my interest since the JHS Angry Charlie is basically a rip-off of my favorite pedal, the MI Audio Super Crunch Box. The Boss Katana amps are amazing for the price/features, and the Blues Driver is one of my favorite boost pedals included with that amp, so they've definitely hit on a few good ideas lately.

I still want to try out the Getaway Driver pedal more than anything else right now though, but the Angry Driver is right behind it.

"BOSS and JHS Pedals have come together in a historic creative collaboration between the two industry leaders".

I have a low tolerance to complete bulls**t and I am severely irked by that sentence! However; I can see the merit of this type of pedal and the dual OD/Distortion seems to be fashionable right now. This one doesn't have two footswitches though. That might limit it somewhat.

JHS seem to be quite a controversial company too. Even if the accusations are entirely false, they seem an odd choice for Boss to partner with.

Watched a couple good videos on it. The remote input is for a second footswitch, and it allows different scenarios. But I think holding the pedal down does the same as an external switch. The LED is a three color one, blue for blues driver, red for angry charlie and white for both. Boss said they chose JHS because the Angry Charlie is unlike anything they currently offer which is true, its based off a Marshall Guvnor. But it is nasically a copy of an MI Audio Crunch Box. JHS does copy many other builders designs and sells them as his own. They're great pedals though, and have gained popularity.

It's like they made this video just for me:

Boss Angry Driver vs. Orange Getaway Driver

They both sound good here, but I prefer the Getaway Driver in this video. Really can't wait to try this pedal.

Kind of a strange comparison.

Yeah, I wouldn't put much weight in a demo that doesn't compare different settings. The Angry Driver especially should have a wide range of available tones. Also hate when they only play leads and no rhythm. Better than nothing as a quick and dirty comparison I guess.
