I've been looking to get a 2 channel combo .....was thinking about one of the new Rocker 15s but a Orange Rocker 30 combo came up locally and I've just got it for a great price of £275..picking it up tomorrow.
Its been Recently serviced and new valves 7 months ago, so thats all good.Ive owned one before, about 5 years ago , but be interested to see how it compares directly with my ad30htc !!

Good score!!!! I missed out on one recently.... still kicking myself, it went for £210 ...... and I was ready to bid more! I was gutted. I can't recall a combo even going for £275 on eBay, you got a great deal there.
I love my R30 head. Great amp.
Looking forward to your comparison and see if they match my perception of R30 vs AD15.

Yes, a LP with that beastly fuzzy dirty channel is...... difficult to resist. I'm not a big fan of power chords, but the R30 invites them on and on.....Ronnie Robinson wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2017 7:33 pmOK just used it for 5 min's after picking it up ......OMG I've forgotten how good the Dirty channel sounds with a les Paul........really looking forward to playing it a lot more!

Good score Ron! I've never found one to try, have you tried the new R15 and R32? How do the old R30 compare to the new releases? Same? Different?Ronnie Robinson wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2017 7:33 pmOK just used it for 5 min's after picking it up ......OMG I've forgotten how good the Dirty channel sounds with a les Paul........really looking forward to playing it a lot more!

Re: NAD Rocker 30 Combo
Cheers, I never got to try the new versions.....unless you need an Effects loop or are massively into pedals and effects I just can't see them sounding 'better' ....the dirty channel is such a rawkest beast , definitely a rock amp , really in your face, full of harmonic overtones and cleans up so well from the guitar Volume control , really cuts through a band mix also ....awesome!!pedecamp wrote: ↑Thu Aug 17, 2017 12:50 amGood score Ron!
