The Thunderverb 200 is... like... back?

Post by enle » Thu Aug 03, 2017 12:13 am

The Thunderverb has been some years out of production only remaining in the Thunder range the TH30 and the combo variant. However, I've seen in Thomann recently like it's back (it can be seen like a new guitar head), but, it is back in production? Or just they are selling remaining stock?

My guess would be remaining stock.

I just discovered two things:
Thomann has a US web site, and
the Thunderverb 200 is on there for a mind-blowing price in USD.

I just emailed them to ask if they are made for US voltage/transformer -- as one would hope, being on their US site... If so, I will be buying one.

Edit: I received a very fast reply, early in the morning on their end...not US spec. :(

Yeah! I see new ones on austinbizzare ..thunderverb 50 to be precise.
The online chat service rep said they were discontinued, but the make reads 2017. I would love to know the full info. Hopefully they are back in production.
