Sag, looser sound like vintage Oranges and Matamp. My OR100 is too tight sounding for what I currently want. Any pedals, mods or tricks that could get me there? Otherwise I'll just buy a Matamp (GT1 or GT120MV).

You really need a valve rectifier.

Have you tried an AD30?

Nope. Never heard that kinda sound from an AD30.

Another option might be to try a compressor in front of your OR100?

You can add a 10 watt resistor roughly 200-300 ohms between the rectifier and first filter capacitor in the power supply to simulate a valve rectifier. Higher the resistance, more sag.

It can be put on a switch too. Watts Tube audio sells a kit I think.

any compressor with a control of the attack should mimic some of the sag effect.. The attack essentially allows control of the rise time of the transients..

I doubt it will translate to your amp, but my CR120h gets saggy as heck with the bass turned up a bit and the gain set up higher. Muffles the pick attack quite a bit.

Some overdrive pedals have Sag control, you might want to look into that. I'm using the Fairfield Circuitry Barbershop, works great for me.
