Vintage Gear Day!!

Post by AryaS » Tue Jun 20, 2017 8:13 pm

So the last two days have been really interesting, Got these two beauties.

Gibson GA-5 & a Washburn, MIJ HB35, in exchange of some pedals I had that i wasn't using at all.
The guitar is Made in Japan, about 40 yrs or so old.

Love the way the washburn plays and through the GA-5 sounds just brilliant.

Will post some clips when I can.

Very nice!!!! Those GA5 are seriously rare!!!

The semi hollow is very sweet too. Looks in good condition for being that old!!!

How does the GA5 sound like??

GA-5, is surprisingly very versatile, I can get like, day tripper and then Sabbath too at the same time with the GA-5, with just one pedal, and with the Washburn, it turns into a Jazz/Blues Monster.

The semi-hollow plays really well, needs new strings though, has that nice woody/mellow tone to it.

All i can think of doing now is practice, get better, and play and play more :)
