Orange OR15H in CD input of Crate taxi 15

Hi. I have the Orange OR15H and I am waiting for my PPC112 to arrived soon. But I was wandering, I have a Crate Taxi 15 amp which I have replaced the speaker with a Celestion Eight 15 8 ohms. Could I connect my Orange OR15H in the CD input of the crate and use the Celestion ? I have the appropriate cable to do so. But is there risk to damage the OR15 because of load issue ? Or is it all OK because the speaker is 8 ohms ?

No, i believe you need to connect your amp 8 ohms tap directly to a speaker.

Connecting that to your other amps cd input will probably cause an impedance mismatch and very likely damage the OR15 output transformer.

Could you confirm that if I go from the FX Loop send direct to my interface using Impulses responses is safe ?
