New Nocaster '51 Day

Post by Bensnake » Fri May 05, 2017 8:02 pm

Ok. I've hated relic guitars. I don't. Anymore. My apologies. Was at a conference in Stockholm this week and paid a visit at Deluxe Music, one of Sweden's biggest music stores. They have lots of CS's hanging on their Fender wall. I stopped by and checked this beautiful Fender Nocaster '51 out. Perfect weight and balance, great feel and tone. The seller made me a great offer. I left the store, had a pizza and a big beer for lunch and decided to buy the damn thing. Under the influence of alcohol I couldn't stop myself.

this is a nice guitar. relics are just preference. i used to hate 'em too. and lol i thought the subject said notacaster and not nocaster. if none of you have ya should check out the custom notacaster guitars. some of them are really nice. anyways enjoy that guitar it looks nice.

Thanks, guys! :D It is a magnificent guitar. And light weight. Feels really great. And looks awesome as well. Perhaps not my last relic...

Playing a really good 'relic' can convert you right enough. Congratulations! :)

I've played some great Fender relics right enough, but also very good indeed, quite possibly even better (looks and feel) are the creations from Rebel Relic here in Amsterdam. Those guys do awesome work, truly great new instruments which feel as if they have been played in for decades.
