Now, it sound kinda weird to me.
Heres the idea, take out half of the speakers in your cab and its suppose to change.
2x12 with only one speaker, or 4x12 with two speakers. Some say its punchier, "airier", and more bassy.
Now, wouldnt an open back do the same thing? or is because you still have the back? is this the idea behind ported cabs?
any experience? any thoughts?
