MIGHTY ORANGE NAD

Post by AryaS » Sun Jan 15, 2017 6:57 am

Getting this tomorrow, mainly for small gigs and for practice, the little half stack looks cute and am sure sounds killer!! getting it real cheap....especially I will have a super small setup for jams....

Cool, congrats in advance! I personally would have left out the cab, I've read many good experiences when plugged into 1x12 and larger.

Hey, Thank You, I wanted to leave the cab out, but the guy isn't selling without it and for 150 bucks for both, i believe its a real good deal. I certainly am going to use it with my 412 cab.

I am sure it will be a fun amp, I plan to keep the cab at my work place, since we jam very often in office (my band members are all colleagues), and just carry the head on the days we jam....

Also can use it for silent practice, and with my 412 when i like it, I have a question though, I'd like to use this amp straight into a PA/Mixer for some gigs that we do at work, They won't provide me with a 412 cab for my Mesa or Marshall, so will not use those amps there...does it sound any good through the headphones out? Into a mixer?

Silent practice sucks on this thing as the headphone out doesn't have a cab sim. I used to run a od pedal into the front for my silent practice as that way I could set the EQ to sound a bit more like a cabinet.
