Depending in where you are and what the local tradition is, Christmas starts today in some places!!!!!!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all a very good time, whichever your religion, whether it's with family or friends or on your own.

2016 has been a pretty shitty year for me (glad to see the back of it), I've lost my 2nd mom in a pretty horrid accident, my dad's been diagnosed with incurable cancer.... So essentially, it's been a very good year to remind me to enjoy what I have and to put things in perspective!!!

So I'm really looking forward to this Christmas, to spend some time with my family, my wife and 2 lovely kids, and essentially those people I love.

Who knows I might even get some time to fire up one of my Orange amps this Xmas!!!!!

And so i wish you all a great time this Xmas, and a great 2017, filled with love, fun, health and great citrus tones!!!!! If you haven't found it yet, may you find your perfect set up!!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Merry Xmas! It sounds like Derby, England enjoys very similar Christmas customs as right here in upstate New York, US of A. This time of year we think back to happy past Christmas times and draw a bit nearer to those we hold dear to us. May 2017 bring health and happiness to you Les Paul Lover and other forum members who may read these words. I plan on "firing up" my own Orange setup in the coming days and once again.....inspire myself, and you make sure you do the same. Everyone one of you!

Health and happiness to all .

Tomorrow , Christmas day should be interesting, myself and my wife are cooking Christmas dinner for 30 people mainly elderly or homeless , people who are by themselves this Christmas, in a community Christmas lunch held locally in a parish hall.

Merry Christmas.

..and all the best for Christmas and the new year for everyone from Mystic CT..

For those who have had a bad year, know that there are ups and downs in life and that there is good and peace to be found in small doeses everywhere.. and they will sustain you until the outlook turns up. In my own case, after 6 years of the doldrums it is fair to say I am looking forward with hope to the new year for the first time in a very long time.. and that can't be bad.

BUT!!.. Inspired by the thread, and seeing a few hours later by myself, i think the LP and the R30 is coming out to be dimed while i shake out some AC/DC.. :D

Amazing!!!!

One of my colleague is a lovely Muslim lady, and she doesn't celebrate Christmas for obvious reasons. She was going to take her kids to a shelter and do something very similar to you, which I found very touching - helping other people enjoy a religious celebration she doesn't believe in.

Both you and her are amazing!!!

Ian - if shaking the walls to AC/DC tunes doesn't turn up the Xmas feel to 11 for your neighbourhood, I'm not sure what could!!!
