Personally I think each requires a bit of EQ Mesa a lil dead and Orange a lil fwd, but the two of them together would be perfect!.. be fun to track them L & R

In that video, I though the Mesa cab sounded much better.
Not sure if that's representative of how it felt in the room, or whether that's fair to compare the PPC212 to the PPC412, but the Mesa does sound really good.

412 vs 212 is an interesting thing... plugging into the 412 shook the walls and all in the room it moves that much air. 212 is fine on its own doesn't thrown as much. I had earplugs, both were very loud!

It may be because I listened to it on my phone, but whilst the PPC212 did sound a bit like mine, it was pretty different to my own with my RV50.

In any case, that Mesa cab in that video sounds fantastic.

Remember that the Mesa is loaded with UK V30's, and the Orange with China V30's. There is a slight difference.
I recently visited a large shop in Germany and the Mesa Boogie 412 Rectifier Standard is the most expensive cab I have ever tried - and the best with the RV3!
I own the PPC212OB and changed one of the China V30's to a Creamback G12H. In some near future I will go hunting for a UK V30 and the cab will be perfect I guess.

Well...... I've read some more about it..... And it looks you might be right to a point.

Some of the reading I've done suggest they aren't exact the same speakers - something I can't verify of course.
But it looks like Celestion may be manufacturing some for both marshall (not a v30 model though) and Mesa Boogie.

Perhaps that partly explains thw obscene price Mesa cabs command un the UK.
