Ghost tone

Post by Timjtitus » Mon Sep 19, 2016 7:58 pm

I've read that the band GHOST use orange amps. The tone is dark and punchy but not overly saturated. Does this sound like any particular amp or would any master volume orange get me close enough?

New to Orange. I just picked up the CR120 and was interested if anybody had any recommendations or settings to get Ghost's tone. I've come across some other sites with recommendations but wanted to see if anyone within the Orange community had anything. I'm looking to get more of the early Opus/Infestissumam era tone which was mainly Orange.

I've read they used Thunderverbs (50 watts?) for Opus. Pretty sure newer stuff had more Marshall influence.
