Found an old Orange distortion pedal

Stumbled upon an old orange distortion pedal, it looks the same as the one in the picture in this link.. Does anyone know anything about these? Hoping it works but I'm yet to try it out....

I'm sure I recall reading in the past that the pedal shown in that photo has nothing to do with Orange Amps.
