damn them 'birds sound phenomenal thru them oranges. reminds me of the old days of electric hot tuna. some of the best tone I ever heard live.

Hmm, I'm not overly fimiliar with Firebirds. Where do they fit in the LP/SG spectrum? I have a LP studio, and have always wanted an SG.

Used the white firebird for years on stage and in the studio, great guitar. Thinner neck so you can play it for hours with ease. They do take a bit of time to get used if you are into sg/LP etc they are balanced differently across your body. I am taller guy with lengthy arms so I really enjoy they. SGs feel very small to me though I do have one and it's a blast to play. I think the studio is somewhere in the middle tone wise between the two... The V on the other hand is a different beast with those minis but I think it gets heavy real quick with some of the oranges
