Orange tube shields?
I noticed they make red ones... so I naturally looked for orange but could not find. doesn't seem like painting would be a good idea at all... they'd look pretty cool in my #4 (cause you can see thru the air vents), but I don't think I'd go so far as to have custom ones made lol ...well maybe >.>

Yeah, that would look cool... why not go the other way and do blue? This is all I could find:

EDIT: also Angela Instruments has what they call 'copper' which I think is the red you mention. Might be close enough...

The copper ones would look cool, but I'd go for black if it was me.
There is a high-temperature paint option for anodized orange:

I was just reading and googling here a few days ago and saw some orange bell covers, they looked very cool and I became instantly jealous. figured if I did it I'd do the shields too if I'm not playing I'm modding something... you know. thanks for the links! I'll figure something out and put some pics up if I get this done
Re: Orange tube shields?

yeah I could be totally wrong about that, I like to know for sure actually. I was just leery, maybe thermally it wasn't a good idea... don't want to screw anything up for the sake of aesthetics lol

It won't negatively affect anything. Just use high heat enamel and make sure you paint them properly. You'd be wise to use a self-etching primer, or at least some sort of primer.Michelle911 wrote:yeah I could be totally wrong about that, I like to know for sure actually.
