everything is settled
saturday i'm gonna pick up the amp.
He gave me some back up information about the amp.
It was painted in black ( apparently this was a common thing back in the days ) and painted again in orange.
Other than that , the circuit should be original.
The only thing that has changed is that their is a ventilator installed inside of the amp to cool it down.

Any things I should be aware of? If it's not possible to open up the amp, do the pictures above ( link first post ) seems legit?
1253$ is the price that we agreed on, or 1100€... whatever you want :)

I'm getting more stoked every minute!

At that price, it's a very fair deal.

Just make sure you plan to give it a good service and get all the capacitors checked out (and possibly replaced) when you get it, as they they are the parts that age the less well in amps, and are the most prone to failures in older amps. The electrolytics cap drift in value, and can make the amp sound pretty different to what it was designed for.

Usually, I'm really concerned about running my OR120 on cabs that I'm not 100% sure about their power handling.
If I run FAC on 2 (from left) EQ Flat (or maybe bass on 3 o clock) and Gain to full, there is zoo much power that this amp can produce that I really don't think it is a good idea running it on just 2 V30. 4 V30 are fine.
Yeah, call me crazy, but I play it like this on 4x12 V4 cab, but cones are rally dead ones, so It doesn't produce that much power.

I just did a reamp session with my OR on 4x12 V30 at full volume. It was scary!
73's OR120 w/master volume, 69 Orange - Matamp 4x12 w/Celestion G12H Blackbacks, Acoustic G100T, Ampeg V4 cab, early Marshall JCM 800 cab, Hohner Orgaphon 41, 73 Ibanez Les Paul Custom, Gibson Blues Hawk, Ibanez John Scofield...
