R.I.P. Lemmy

Motorhead was a band I could always count on for pure rock n' roll. He will be missed.

Can I raise a practical question at this point? Are we gonna do "Stonehenge" tomorrow?

Great gigs, great memories - thanks for entertaining me over the decades.
RIP Lemmy, I'll be sparking up and hitting the JD in your honour for breakfast...

Learning of his death was not how I wanted to wake up. Damn.

Man was unique. He was supposed to go on for ever. He should have.

RIP Lemmy. (And wherever you are - LET rip!)

I was just listening to Eat the rich and a few others just a couple of days ago. Very sad news. The kind of news that always come as a shock. Rest in peace!

Finally watched the Lemmy movie tonight. Great band - great man. If you haven't seen it, you need to. It's seems like a eulogy now, but really an amazing portrait of the man.

Lemmy was rock personified...he lived the life and his musical legacy will live on. R.I.P.

One thing about Lemmy is he always stayed true. He had a sound that he stuck to, just like the Ramones is another example. Alot of bands and musicians ruin their career by trying to follow trends etc .... messing up something good. If you have something good, stick to that sound that brought all of your fans...

The number of knowledgeable Musos in my circle of friends who didn't know Lemmy had sang the vocal on Hawkwind's Silver Machine... I only found out a few years back!

Lets hope he's flying his Silver Machine tonight.
Paul.
