NAD today Jim Root #4 Terror

Post by CherrySunburstDan » Thu Dec 03, 2015 10:32 pm

Got a bargain Jim Root #4 Terror today, from evilbay, for peanuts lets say!

Only thing is didn't have the gig bag, which judging on the weight of the thing, I may need to buy one in the future!!

Bloody lovely sound though, nice cleans surprisingly and nice gain, but barely had it off the min volume as any higher than 2 and it's too loud for home use!

Awesome. You could just carry it around in an empty cardboard container from a 12-pack of Root Beer (get it? :D ) and duct tape the edges for structural reinforcement.

I've had one for a while and love it. It is my at home practice rig. They say it sounds like a Rockerverb. I have a new MK iii 100 watt head also. The #4 sounds great but the RV MKIII kills it!!

For some reason I cannot upload a photo!

I didn't get the JR cab, I already have a 1x12 Blackstar htv112, which is plenty loud enough!

Will suss the picture issue unless it's due to the amount of posts I have, maybe not enough to uploads pics??

Nothing to do with number of posts. Need to upload the picture onto some photo sharing cloud server such as Dropbox , copy the public liink then paste it between the Imgs.

Having said that it still seems to have a mind of its own.......

But I've uploaded before, directly, I'm sure of it!

She now I can't and I have to use a third party website to upload pictures to and then link it on here!

That's rubbish!

Edit: just checked and I've not uploaded a single picture on here ever!
Other forums I use don't have to use the above method!!

Admin can we not get this issue sorted out?
