Xotic EP Booster good match for the Rockerverb MK lll ?

I just ordered this pedal as I heard a lot of good things about it but havent found any RV users with it so was wondering if someone here has used it with Orange RV and if its a good match?

I have the RV MK lll 50 head with a PPC 212 cab with Scumbacks M75s.

It's one of those pedals that's supposed to make everything sound better. Nearly guaranteed to warm up your clean channel, but Orange's unique mids structure and heavy gain on their modern amps will likely give you some resistance, so you may want to dial the gain down a notch or two, so it doesn't get too compressed and flubby.

Cool and thanks! I normally have the gain set between 12 and 13.
Today I have the Fulltone OCD but I think that one will be sold if the booster is to my likings.

Good luck! Be sure to update this post with the results! I'm always looking for another way to juice an Orange. So far, I've had the best luck with flat, wide, boosts or ODs, like the Boss BD-2, Keeley Katana, and Zvex Super Hard On. Also, transparent Klon types work well, as their buffers and clean boosts can act as the missing Presence control on the modern Orange lineup.

Only ting is if I really really need a boost as I can use the attenuator function as a boost, maybe I have to reconsider the order..

Yeah. It's a good pedal which I have used with my RVMKII but usually use it with my Ad30. It adds brigtress as well as gain and a bit of smooth compression. I like it.

I really like my Xotic EP booster. Pretty much ended my search for a good od pedal.
