I was offered a chance to by two PPC212 models. The first being the open back an the second being the Jim Root. They're asking $750 for the pair. Like new condition and they both would come with slip covers.

I don't really need them. I have a hand built 2x12 with H30's that's been doing the job very well but damn, that sounds like a pretty sweet deal.

Opinions? Thanks in advance...

Yup, buy them and then you can sell me the Root cabinet .If anything you can buy them both, sell one and make most of your money back and have one Orange 2x12.

I also contemplated trading the Root for another PPC212OB so I could have one in each color!

That would be especially sweet considering the Dual Terror has no head shell casing and would be neutral to both colors.

Still, if I take the deal, I'll seriously consider your offer.
