Was the Rocker 30 combo cabinet changed at some point?

Post by Spaceboy1 » Sun Mar 15, 2015 5:49 pm

Some Rocker 30s have a smal Orange name plate on the cloth, others have the a large one. This is no big deal, but are the cabinets the same? Sometimes it looks like the border of the face is thicker on some versions, but this could be an illusion due to the name plate size. I'll see if I can find some pics.

The one with the smaller logo looks stockier to me, like perhaps the framing edge around the cloth is a little thicker.

The early models had the small logo. I also believe they were slightly smaller (not as wide). That's why it looks 'thicker'.

Edit: here's a link.

It went from 52cm to 55cm in width. It makes you wonder why it wasn't made the same width as the heads in the first place since the difference is so small.

Both were made in the UK. By looking at your sig. pic it seems like you have the later (wider) model (big crest and badge).
