RV Mkll or lll? I'm in a hurry! Vote!
Should I get the Mkll new at a reduced price (warranty swap out) or should I lay low and wait for the new Mklll to arrive?

Well the Mk.II sounds like good value. Nobody here knows what the Mk.III sounds like though...

I'd go with the MKIII only if you think that an attenuator could.be useful too you.
If that feature is of no interest, I would go with the better deal you are getting on a MKII.

Get the MKII now, get the MKIII when it's released. Keep the best one and get rid of the other one. Or keep both.

yes, the attenuator feature is really appealing. I'd go for the MKIII for this reason.
Re: RV Mkll or lll? I'm in a hurry! Vote!
Very hard to answer since no one has played an mkIII. I would wait to find out more. Like les paul lover said I wonder What tubes it's using? I like that the MKII can change different tubes. If you can I would get both and sell the one you don't like as previously stated. Otherwise go with the MKII...New models vs old models are not always better. (like ditching the rocker 30 or going from ad200b MKII to MKIII) Sometimes companies change things to make more $...But no one knows forsure in this case.

..of course you get both if you can!!
the only thing I can see being a let down there is if the change to voicing is minimal, then I see no reason haveing the MKll. Otherwise all the new features are exactly what I feel the RV MKll are lacking, if they had only fitted the DIVO feature too
...and seeing that there still is no news or confirmation from Orange... your probably either in for a good wait or a dissapointment when it comes to the MKlll

It's difficult to make a decision on something you ve ever heard and don't even know if it exists!
Re: RV Mkll or lll? I'm in a hurry! Vote!
Think I go for the Mkll for now. The price is REALLY good and I can Always get rid of it if i find the Mklll more appealing. Or get that as well. Hell, we don't even know the release date yet.

It would have to be a ridiculously good price for the the MKII to be worth the sticker price. I would make due with something else and see what the MKIII offers if you are spending more than $1500. If you spending less than that, go for the MKII.
