Terry Pratchett RIP

Nothing to do with music but...

Sad day for me, and many others. Another of the really great characters has gone. Sir Terry Pratchett wrote many of the books I've enjoyed most, especially his Discworld series. They were both clever and huge fun.

I loved his ideas and way with words. Posting here as a.hun and Andy H. I quoted him in both my profiles:
“(The truth isn't easily pinned to a page.) In the bathtub of history the truth is harder to hold than the soap and much more difficult to find.”
and, especially for him today...
“You get a wonderful view from the point of no return.”

RIP.

Andy.

Ugh, this stings doubly as my father introduced me to Discworld alongside Hitchhiker's when I was all of 13. I've read and enjoyed every book in the series and it's sad to see such a talented person go in such a difficult way. RIP.
