How's the effects loop on the Dual Dark, good for delays? I have a Ceriatone Silver Jub clone with a tube buffered loop and my Flashback delay sounds like butt in the loop. My Fulltone Fatboost works well for a boost there, but I was really disappointed with the delay there. Tried a Boss DD-3 as well, no dice.

Also, is it possible to get close to R30 dirty tones with this amp? The youtube vid by Fluff made this thing sound kinda fizzy and undefined to me, but I really like the features on this amp.

Yes, both channel volumes right up with the gain down lower, and on 50 or 25 watts...basically clean as a whistle if you like, but I always prefer a bit of edge.

I don't want to play a Dual Dark, I know the GAS will be unstoppable if I do!
Congrats!

I'm not sure about the R30 bit, having never played one. I can tell you that it is not by any means undefined. My carbon Copy delay sound brilliant through the loop. Just sounds like a great analog delay to my ears.

I believe that's another demo from John.

Does sound really good. Too tight for me, but that's a beast of an amp for classic rock, hard rock and more.

Yes, tight does describe it very accurately. Great amp and very flexible, but another amp is in order to cover all bases. I might have to be rid of the YJM in favor of a RVMKIII (hint Hint)...

Bear in mind this was recorded at bedroom levels. Cranking the volumes to 7 or 8 with the band brings in some sag and compression to the attack, as-well as getting the speaker moving properly.
