new ad30tc crackling

just received my ad30tc today and the second channel crackles when i turn the volume up and down. signal sometimes cuts out as well when playing. only does this on the second channel. very frustrating to pay this much for a brand new amp and have it not work right. any help/advice appreciated. thanks.

new= warranty. Not your problem- bring it back to the dealer.

yes, I am aware that it is new and under warranty

problem is, I don't have a dealer near me, so I ordered online. any other suggestions?

hey, man. yep, that's the one. but don't freak yet ;o) i talked to Orange today and they said it could be a couple of minor things: one of the preamp tubes could be microphonic or the volume pot is dirty and just needs to be cleaned. Orange gladly sent me 4 new preamp tubes. I'll try those if the pot cleaning doesn't work. Dang, how long have you been waiting for you amp?? drop me an email when you get it. Want to know how you dig ;o)

I just bought a new ad30tc as well from humbuckmusic.com and it is being shiped to my house in California. I also hope that mine doesnt have problems! Let us know how it turns out!

I got my AD30HTC from Humbucker last week. It works fine.

got my orange AD30TC combo yesterday. oh baby! damn that thing sounds good!

of course my other guitar player brought a VOX AC30 to practice and now i want one of those too!

I received my AD30TC earlier this year from a store in Portland, Oregon. They now boast that they are an official Orange dealer on the west coast, and in fact, do carry a lot of "new" Orange stuff. They have sent me the latest Orange catalog and are quite responsive to Orange questions, problems etc.
The store is Apple Music, and I believe that they are still working on getting their web page up and running.
