Interesting to say the least, authenticating is usually the issue.

I'm pretty sure I've seen these before a few years ago.... I remember seeing the FAT MATTRESS logo painted on there...
Yeah - I think it was here:

I like the Derek and the Dominos Orange cab, too!

and probably very little use since Noel was using his cab as a table:Randy Bass wrote:It's only $5,000 per amp. That's a bargain!
"Noel’s Orange cabinet that was used with The Experience and Fat Mattress. Noel could not remember where he had stored the cabinet, and to his surprise and ours, it was hiding under a large table cloth in his living room being used a table."

Yeah, but "all original parts except the tubes" means you'd have to factor in cap jobs too!Randy Bass wrote:It's only $5,000 per amp. That's a bargain!

and a big YELP to what Randy said about caps, although it may be important to a collector. But, if that is the case, the tolex is long gone already too...
MY OR120 is a 74 and still on original caps after a tech checkup not long ago....so I guess they can hold on if played regularly, but I think I am going to change em' soon anyway to precautious.

They totally can survive much longer if the amp is used regularly. My '74 Hiwatt still has it's originals which are now however starting to show blisters.ironlung40 wrote:and a big YELP to what Randy said about caps, although it may be important to a collector. I can't be using it quite enough, they were fine when I got it...
