Yeah, they're pretty - but when recording I tend to monitor with my eyes shut, so I don't care what they look like...
Looks like Gibson re-marketing KRK monitors (who they bought out in 2011) - seems like marketing and not much more to me but that's just my jaded opinion. They are kinda cute though...

I don't particularly like them, but it is a good idea/design concept for some segment of the market. I don't know if they will sell though.

Very pretty. But frankly looks don't count for studio monitors, just sounds.

(Who me, cynical?)

....I agree with Bensbake said the same when I saw them.

Now apart from looks it'll be interesting to see if they are of quality....cause they're gunna be freakin expensive and since they're co-branding them I get the feeling that your paying alot more for the brand name (even if it nothing to do with studio speakers) than sound quality. Hopefully the kiddies like em and they sell well ...then in a few years the average Joe can afford buying a Gibson guitar again.

I must be the only guy here who thinks they look hideous, but oh well. I don't think they will sell; studio guys will scoff at them (rightfully, compared to their Mackies and similar), and they will be too expensive compared to other brands that deliver the goods equally well. Maybe Gibson should attach something robotic to them, to lure more people in.

Can't say I'm keen on the looks

The explanation of the link between gibson - Les Paul - multitrack recording - speakers reminds me of the Monty Python and the Holy Grail witch trial :D

I'm not convinced.
These monitors are maybe good, but it's too much "marketing" for me.
