I bought the Orange CR35LDX a couple of weeks from Gear4music which is a 3 min walk from my house. Just for a practice amp, a kick about amp.
Just seen Orange have brought out a new CR35RT amp ! Gear4music give a 28 day money back guarantee on all purchases. I liked the little Orange but the new one has a dirty and clean channel and a cab sim out, the only thing i didnt like about the CR35LDX was the amount of gain, to get a punk sound both had to be up full, so hopefully the new one has more gain ? So do i swap for the new one ? I never used the effects only the reverb so nothing missing there ? thanks

If you don't use the DFX and want more gain, you are exactly the demographic for which the new CR35RT was created. Send that sucker back!

The new CR35RT thats a nice amp! I only wish they would add those features into the 60 watt combo, I'd get one in a minute!

Re: Do I or dont I ?
Hi sorry, I took the Orange CR35LDX back and ordered the RT version, but they have not received their shipment of them yet so just waiting for them to come in.
Looking back when i first plugged the CR35LDX in I hated it, its was a strange set up with the controls, the overdrive and the gain. Some setting seem to give you two sounds you got a heavy distorted sound, but underneath it was a clean sound, it was as if you had plugged into two different amps at the same time, one clean and one distorted. oh well we shall see...

I would of bought the CR60 really but just wanted a simple one box solution, with a tuner, reverb etc
