Huh. Are you going to bring a $10K amp to a gig making $100? It would be more interesting if it had more information...

Some of us do not hesitate to bring thousands of dollars instrument to gig, so why not an amp, but this one can be 64 and so on.. I'm not that exited to value this 10 K.bclaire wrote:Huh. Tone is in the finger anyway.
Spending $10k on an amp is pointless when you can get a crate for like $100. That leaves enough change for a bad monkey or two and you're set for life.

"these amps were notoriously easy to break" Yeah... prone to failure, so that's why I'm charging 10k for it. Hahaha

The majority of musicians live on a budget which would first make it impractical to say the least then there are others which $10,000 is nothing more than moving the comma over a digit and eccentric. A few would be those who may have somehow come across something like this of value along with the attitude "What in the hell good is it on the shelf it's meant to be played". Kinda like a guy who lives in near by me in a very rural country town who drives a $500,000 original 1970 Shelby GT 500 convertible as an everyday driver literally in his overalls and cow pile of poop on his boots and the car looks like it hasn't been washed or cleaned out for years! lol

Who knows what it sounds like - if I had an expensive studio I'd consider it if it sounded great and was a sound I couldn't get elsewhere. Then it would have value for me - but who knows how it sounds?

First of all I've spent well over $5,000.00 on gear and make $100.00! Minus the bar bill, and gas mind you.Valvelust wrote:Mystic38 wrote:isnt the line...

think you have it right there..
imagine the spiral of depression to lust about it, get it, wire it up, turn it on and....nothing..?..or, even worse, it works and its an underwhelming "uh..is that it?"
