I made the same error; so don't feel too frustrated. I did have my (fairly) new Dark Terror go down last year due to a blown power tube taking out a fuse. After my vendor went through some tests with me, they asked for it to be shipped back. The usual parts and shipping charge was not cheap. I'd forgotten that tubes are not warranted after 30 days and I was into the 10th. month of ownership.
Yes, tube amps can be a challenge sometimes.

Enjoy that amp! It is a wonderful design IMHO, with a tone to match.
