Which OD\Boost for OR15?

Hi everyone!
I own an OR15 and I love all the tones that I can get from it, from light overdrive to doomy high gain.
The only thing that I'm missing from it is the flexibility of having a second channel set to different gain and-or eq.
So how can obtain that keeping my amp?
I tried a TubeScreamer clone and a BAT BlackForest but didn't liked them, too much tone change and less natural sound.
So, which pedal (even DIY) should I try to get an increase of gain (and sustain) without altering my base tone too much?

Thanks!

MXR microamp works very well with Orange amps and it's recommend on the Orange Amp Web site.

The new version with 3 Eq knobs and should nt effect your tone when it's off like the older one knob version does

The level of boost you get though will depend on how distorted the amp is, less distorted will give more volume boost up to next to no volume boost when the amp is more distorted. This has been case with the Orange amps I've owned anyway and not particular to the mxr.

I'm going to say the JHS Superbolt. It's modeled after a vintage Supro, but the higher gain settings sound like modern Oranges in my opinion. I did an A/B with my Rocker and it was tough to tell the difference. You could set your amp to light crunch or clean and use the pedal for your higher gain. If your handy at DIY there is a verified layout of it. It's a very touch sensitive pedal too.

MXR Micro Amp is great. I've used the single knob one for lead boosts (in front of amp) and through the FX loop to push the amp.

MXR micro amp or Zvex Sho will get you there. Both will behave like Ronnie said, with the newer micro amp having eq too.

The Zvex Sho is a dead simple boost to build, lots of schems on internet if you want to look for one. I did the boner available on pedalparts.co.uk.

pedals are right there with politics...lol..

have tried a bunch, have had a TC MojoMojo for a couple of years and happy with it.. it allows some low mids and bass grunt through...somce decent vids on youtube.

has a switch for different shape, then bass and treble controls... can be from clean boost to solid dirt.

Thanks for the many suggestions, I'm going to check some demos.
Any experiences with Java boost or other "modern" Rangemasters?

I use the MXR microamp.
Works very well with Orange tone, easy to find (even used) , cheap.

I had the Analogman Beano Boost mini for a while. I eventually sold it but it sounded good through my Orange amps, there's a demo on youtube of someone playing it through either a Tiny Terror or Dual Terror.. I can't remember which.
