Believe it or not,

my favorite rig isn't even a amp in the traditional sense. I use a Radial Plexitube through either a ehx 44mag or I use channel B on my Crown amp that is connected to my home made 2/12 made from solid 1in maple, I then daisy chain the PA speakers from channel A. The nice thing about this is if I need to have a bit of guitar stage right I can just bleed a bit into the PA speakers by panning from the mixer. The solid maple cab is the trick as full range speakers would sound like $hit!

No point in taking the Oranges outside.

PS-I am more concerned with the overall sound of the band as a whole rather than being a selfish guitar player, lol

One amp that I failed to mention in my original post. Is the Fender Supersonic. It is an amazing sounding head and is not too shabby, affordability wise. About a grand for the 60 watt head, and you can find them for about 700 used.

If I were not obsessed with Orange, I would probably be seeking one of those.

Yeah, didn't Larry Lalonde use those with Primus? I think he did and they sound great...I know he also uses the Dual Terrors..

Edit: Yep, I remembered correctly...check it

Funny you should mention Larry Lalonde. I always found it rather odd that he doesn't acknowledge being in Possessed. Swing of the ax on metal massacer was awesome when I was young https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYaAsiNHCRA" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Awesome, yeh for those of you who have never tried a Fender supersonic, definitely try it, they are nice, they have a 60 and a 100 watt version, the 100 watters are quite more expensive, but the 60 watt one is reasonable when considering. It is quite pleasing especially with the matching two twelve .... I tried one at guitar center and totally wanted one. But I had been lusting after Orange for alot longer..... I am not displeased with my choice, but I doubt anyone could find displeasure with the Supersonic.

A few days ago my 2nd guitarist took me to the local guitar store because he wanted to try the new Laney IRT15h. Man, it's a kick-a$$ amp! 15 watt of pure beast, I can hear a lot of Black Sabbath, of course the sound of Iommi of the latest album (13). Very very nice, I was attempted to buy it.

But if I had money, and someone that carry the amp for me, probably I would get a Marshall Plexi.

Here's the one amp I would love to find: the Oliver Sound Powerflex amp. Enjoy!

The Powerflex is hard to find - especially east of like ohio. I don't think anyone likes to ship them.
