Re: Where can we find your music?
I'm gonna take that as a thumbs up. Yeah, there's some dissonant stuff there. On one show, we got to open for El Ten Eleven, it was the first time I had heard much of their stuff. After the night was over I asked the guitarist from that band if they listened to much New Order or Joy Division, and he responded by asking if we listened to much King Crimson. I quite liked that. We got to play some awesome shows with some great bands. I wish it would've lasted longer.Les Paul Lover wrote:You obviously worked wuite hard at the dissonant thing. I must have this disease also. I've been able to be fired from my own band (a band I created, etc)Gladmarr wrote:[ Must be my sweetheart personality.....
Apart the joke, I like a lot what I've heard from your defunct band

I'm the other Danish member, I guess...Les Paul Lover wrote: I can't remember who is our Danish forum member behind Select Captain - only 3 tracks here, but I really enjoy them all, even though All Too Hard stands out for me as a particular gem.

Now, where's your music?
Where can I find it?
My music is here, some rather old recordings, from way back in 2006 - no Orange content there, sadly, but I'm rather happy with these songs, and I really like that I still enjoy listening to them!

Here's my blues power trio I play bass in The Petra Loa
http://www.soundcloud.com/the-petra-loa" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Two songs recorded in the basement with one mic, one track from our first gig. Second gig is tomorrow!
I also play bass in a heavy metal band, Dark Region. Here's a video we made for our first recording (finishing up the first EP):

We opened for Macabre last week and they had a bass amp emergency...I volunteered my Orange TB500+SP212. Was incredible hearing him wail on a 6 string Alembic bass thru my rig. At first he was doubtful but afterwards exclaimed "I AM A BELIEVER."

I like this. The second track makes me happy. Something about the harmonic content of the guitars (if that's stating it correctly)....

I must say I'm surprised again.
I didn't play it on spotify as I won't pay £10/month for the privilege of using it, but listened to the 3 track video on your face book page.
I'm very impressed!
Excellent hard rock. Looking at the pics and the fact that you are using the Dual Dark made me think you were just another hardcore metal band of sort, and that isn't my cup of tea.
But just like the demo you did of the Dual Dark, which is a great tight rock amp contrary to my expectations, your band is an excellent hard rock act! Your singer has a great voice too, cuts through like a charm without being whiny, really good..... I might just plump for your CD.
Do you get some royalties from spotify?
What's the advantage of putting your music there? did you put it on other medium, to start with? (bandcamp, soundcloud?)
When did your band take off and how did you do until it did?
