That switch in the new eastwood guitar...

Any guesses of what that 'transwarp drive' circuitry basically is?

And another question: does anyone know of singlecoils pickups in a humbucker format? Like, proper singlecoils like the ones you'd find in a Tele.

Looks to be a simple preamp boost. Nothing you couldn't get from an MXR Micro Amp etc.

Can only think of humbucker sized P.90s = P94s. Daresay Fender style ones might exist, but don't know of any myself.

seymour duncan makes p rails which are a single coil, a p90, and series or parallel humbucking pickups. I have a set in my semi hollow and they sound great

I just discovered the existence of these adapters: http://www.guitarfetish.com/Guitar-Hardware_c_37.html

Thanks though, that p-rail looks quite interesting from the videos I've come across :)

That switch looks like a simple transparent boost of sorts.

Nice guitar that airline!

Regarding your pickup question... yes yes yes! The Lindy Fralin "Twangmaster" pickups. They are the closest thing you can get to a Tele sounding single coil in a humbucker. Very clear, snappy, sparkly but still retains great depth. He also just released a new one called the "Big Single" that's like a Twangmaster but more beefed up. Check them both out. Expensive, but worth it.

I have a Curtis novak telecaster pickup which is hum canceling. I think he calls it the TEL-HC. It looks just like a telecaster pickup but has a split coil. Sounds pretty close, too, but has a bit of humbucker tone to it. Anyways, I like it a lot. I paired a firebird neck pickup with it and they balance pretty well.
