The great looks of the amps of course, and some great bands/artists with nice sound coming out of Orange amps eg. Bigelf, Mastodon and Slipknot.

None... Came walking into the store and just for fun plugged into the Tiny Terror they had on display. After bashing out a few chords on a Strat with HB in the bridge position i was sold. Then discovered the Rob Chappers demo's, went on the forum... That kinda usual stuff...

Non really, just been a Marshall fan for years and I saw a MK I OR RV100, tried it out, and fell in love with it's dark british voicing, looked at the build quality, a chock that's nice, the irons looked solid, and the option to voice them with 6L6s.
I played it all weekend while writing some new riffs. I'm REALLY starting to like it... like I feeling guilty not showing some love to my DSL hah.

The Hellacopters and Murder City Devils, also Broken Teeth and Earl Slick from Bowie, New York Dolls. But more so because in the past playing in bands, I was at a show and used someones Orange, I think an Or80 and a few years later an Ad140. I also recorded with an ad30 and rockeverb 50 before.
I have also seen footage of AC/DC on german tv or something and they honestly sounded better with the Orange stuff than they ever did with Marshall.
The early Black Sabbath and Alice Cooper footage had some Orange going on.
So far the Rocker 30 is the best amp I have ever owned. I have had alot of stuff, Fender, Marshall, Sovtek, Mesa Boogie, Bugera.....

Blackberry Smoke and 'Dib' my other guitarist in my covers band (both Rockerverb 50's) sounded nice and I fancied a portable version of that type of sound for rehearsals.

I also wanted to add that I always enjoyed Ade Emsley's (sp?) demo videos, especially of the AD30 and Rocker 30

Dead Meadow. Specifically the album Three Kings. Bought the album totally randomly at the local record shop, and I dug the sound. Saw the oranges in the picture on the front, and went to check them out at the dealer in town. Ended up walking out of there with a Tiny Terror, and I've loved it ever since.

My first experience was seeing Andy Dunlop of Travis rocking Oranges 15 years ago. I didn't really lust for one until seeing The Mars Volta. I couldn't really afford one until recently

Jim Root for sure. The guy has a real sense of texture, very jazzy, very bluesy but also very tight and heavy. A player like that can help sell anything. I'm also intrigued by his Jazzmaster, that just might be my next axe.
