Wampler Crush The Button?

Post by Boy_Narf » Tue Jul 22, 2014 10:03 pm

Hello Everyone,

I know there is another thread on this pedal but I'm just wondering if anyone has any recent experience with this pedal. I'm purging pedals like crazy and decided to keep this one since it's "Limited edition" oooo ahhh...

IMO it sounds best with the EQ set as follows:

mids:0
bass:10
treble:5-7

That being said, this pedal still sounds like I'm playing through an 8" speaker. It's so boxy with no low end whatsoever. With the low end maxed, it is still less bass than my R30 with the lows at noon.

Anyone have a similar experience?

I bought one before I got an Orange... Since it was limited edition and supposed to be an "orange in a box", thought it was a great deal...

Never really dig it, especially after I got the rocker 30... Just did not sound good...

Kept it for a while, but got over the limited edition hype and included it in a trade for a fargen mkii. Never regreted it.

Cheers

Stick with your 'limited edition' R.30!
