Hey guys. Just bought an Orange 4x12 from what seemed to be a nice local guy. I have an orange 2x12. I had him take off the back and even confirm that they were vintage 30's in there in pictures.
Getting it home I just noticed the backplate of it is not like my orange 2x12.

Checked out this thread but my cab doesn't even have a serial number sticker that is blank like his cab

Looks like the same cheap thin plastic plate that was on my chinese-made Orange 1x12. Is this one of the Compact 4x12's made in China? The UK ones have a better quality metal input jack, like pictured in your post photo.

That would be an older jackplate, but authentic nonetheless. You can date the cab using the speaker codes in all likelihood. I would suspect that your cab is at least seven or eight years old, if not older.
