AD30HTC + ProCo Rat 2? Any users here?

If so. Do they play well together?
I'm looking to use my amp's OD and put some Rat on top to thicken things up a bit.
Thoughts?

I like what rats and orange do each, in general
it sounds GREAT with my orange thunderverb 50

Not much to add, but I think my rat sounds good on my Rocker, although my Rockers gain sounds thicker. Do you already have the Rat? Wouldn't be my first choice for just thickening the sound if I was looking to buy a pedal.

I really like pushing my amp with my Xotic RC Booster. The Bass and Treble controls are baxandall type so it's easy to boost or cut frequencies. I used to have the BB preamp which offers more gain and has more mids. Very transparent pedals that don't take over the amps character. The Mooer Pure Boost is a clone of the RC Booster that sounds just as good if you don't want to pay the big bucks of the Xotic. I almost considered selling my RC for one until I realized it wouldn't be worth it for the used price of my RC. Mooer also makes a great Rat clone too if you wanted to go that way too, uses the LM308 chip too.
