Ha ha ha! Thanks... the '32 Triolian trumps just about everything!

It's done now but I haven't photographed it with the pearl dots inlaid - here's an "almost done" picture:

I have a 1976 Ibanez Destroyer and a 1978(?) Westbury Performer. Both VERY nice Japanese guitars.

Good eyes! That is indeed the signature and date of the artist. When I got the guitar it was just natural wood with a thick crappy lacquer on it. My friend stripped it down and then used mostly black pen to do the art.

All I told him was I wanted a sort of Ralph Steadman desert scene.

The guitar is good for its age. The neck is a bit too small for my tastes and the bridge pickup is on its way out but not bad for a 50+ year old guitar that was sold for $155 at Sears.

A piano from 1950. My mother got it on her sixth birthday. I brought it with me when I moved out from my parent's house back in the early 90's. Awesome piece of instrument and furniture.

My guitars, amps and pedals are all quite new. Sold the old ones and started from scratch a couple of years ago.

I totally forgot about my piano. It was made in Germany in around 1942.

Mine would be a '54 or '56 Rickenbacher lap steel that I found in a pawn shop for $100, which is all original as far as I can tell. It absolutely screams.

I have my Pop pop's guitar from the 30's. I don't have it with me, but will post pics soon. Other than that, my Arion SCH-1.
Can I raise a practical question at this point? Are we gonna do "Stonehenge" tomorrow?

My backup bass is about the oldest thing I own, a late 80's Warmoth parts bass that weighs over 20lbs. My '07 Fender Custom Shop is nicer in almost every way, especially since I replaced the electronics and bridge. Other than that the oldest piece of gear I use regularly is my 2004 AD200B MkIII. Actually that means its right around the 10 year mark since I bought it since that was in July of 2004. 8)
